Hi there, and welcome to yet another video with Maria Wendt!
If you're new here, just know that I help you make more money through the power of your personal brand.
And today, we're talking about how to build a strong profitable brand.
I'm going to give you three things that you can do right away, to start making your brand strong and profitable. Because ultimately, we talk about branding a lot here on this channel. And ultimately, what we're trying to do is create a brand that positions us as an expert, really helps us connect to our ideal clients, and truly ultimately, make more money. So, that's what we're going to talk about today is, how to build a strong profitable brand.
The first thing that you're going to want to do if you're looking to build a strong profitable brand is to position yourself as an expert in your industry.
You can do this a couple of different ways: by being interviewed on guest podcasts, by creating a lot of content yourself, by doing collaborations with other big names in your industry. But what's important for you to do is, sit down and make a list of you know, who are some of the top contenders in your industry or some of the top dogs in your industry? What are some of the things that they're currently doing? And how are they positioning themselves as an expert?
Because, at the end of the day, who we perceive as experts, it all comes down to positioning and how we perceive them to be an expert or not an expert. What I'd like you to do is sit down and make a list of all the different things that you can do to really position you as an expert in your industry.
The second thing that I want you to do is to start focusing on long-term marketing strategy.
So many entrepreneurs, they make the mistake of focusing on the short-term gain. So they'll post to Facebook three times a day, or they'll be obsessive about their Instagram feed and the way it looks. But that's not a long-term marketing strategy, that's short-term. And it feels good, it feels productive and you kind of see results from that fairly quickly. But that's not really a long-term marketing strategy. Some examples of long-term marketing strategy could be, starting a YouTube channel and creating a ton of free content. Or starting a blog and sharing free content on there. Building relationships with people in your industry, or your following, your audience.
You know, there's a lot of different things that you can and there's a lot of long-term marketing strategies.
But two core tenants of that would probably be to, build relationships and to provide value. So if you can focus on bringing that in some way into your business, you're going to have what is called a long-term marketing strategy, and that's going to have big payoffs in the long run, which is what you want.
Finally, my last recommendation for you is to gather as many testimonials as you can and share them everywhere.
So, share them on your Instagram feed, share them in your YouTube channel, share them on your website. Really let other people speak for you and your services because, this positions your brand as a trusted authority, as someone who does what they say they're going to do. Is reliable, delivers great results for their clients.
You want to really show that, it's not just you talking about how great you are. You have other people praising you and your services and speaking to the results that you get. That would be the third thing that I recommend and also, if you are having people give you testimonials, setup some kind of referral program. I get a lot of clients via word of mouth, and this helps me with my marketing because, I'm not always having to worry about getting clients because a lot of times they're coming to me, via word of mouth recommendations.
If you want to really start making money with your brand, we should consider working together.
Thank you so much for joining me today, and I will see you in the next video.
