Here’s how I built my coupon follow-up automation: when someone clicks one of my checkout links, Manychat automatically tags them, marking them as someone who showed interest, and then the system waits 55 minutes before doing anything else.

That pause matters. It keeps the potential sale from feeling pushy and gives the person space to buy on their own. But if they don’t check out in that window, Manychat automatically sends a coupon message from me. 

The best part? That means I’m recovering customers I might have completely lost without lifting a finger. I built this automation once, and it has run nonstop ever since.

2. My Retargeting Ad Automation

A retargeting ad simply shows your offer to people who have already visited your checkout page. This is a great opportunity to make a sale because these are the people who already raised their hand, so to speak. They just need a little nudge.

And you don’t need a huge budget to get started with ads. In fact, I teach beginners to start with $5 a day, a low ad spend that can have big returns. For example, I typically see a 3X return on ad spend, so for every $1 I put in, I typically make $3 back. This is one of the purest forms of true passive income in my business.  I set it up once, and it runs.

For years, I wasn’t upselling correctly. When someone bought one of my products, I just let them walk away. Huge mistake! This automation is one of the reasons I scaled from $100K months to $300K months.
